The Redwood Area has 36 women's golf clubs and 4 nine-hole women’s golf clubs. We have 6 playdays held from April through October and on our final playday we announce the winner of our Medallion points. Our area Team Play is held in June and our Tournament of Champions in April. We rotate the courses we play in the Redwood Area, which starts from the Golden Gate Bridge and goes to Eureka - including some courses in the East Bay.
The courses are a variety that will welcome beginning golfers to more advanced golfers and the Redwood Area golfing group is very easy to play with. We have individual play on the playdays and we have Team Play. Team Play is where the individual clubs send four golfers to play against the other clubs to accumulate points over the 6 playdays. We announce the winner of the Team Play on our final playday in October.
