The Helen Lengfeld Award is our most prestigious award. It is presented each year at this tournament to the member who most parallels the volunteering and service of Helen Lengfeld, Founder of the Pacific Women’s Golf Association. This year, we had several nominees who are very worthy of this award, and it was difficult to narrow it down to one person. This year’s recipient has helped in the development of a First Tee Program and with a Girl Scout Troop of beginning golfers. She has always been available for Swing Club Outings with the veterans in Menlo Park. On the club level she has served as: Tournament Chair On the Board level she has served as: Rules Director On the USGA level she has either helped or been in charge of the: Mid Am Qualifier On the County, State or National level she has been served on: Rules Committees, and was the Rules Chair for the California Women’s Championship She is….Laura Lee Pixton!!!
