PWGA is pleased to introduce the PWGA Junior Girls Grants Program. We are happy to provide means for supporting Junior Girls Golf Programs through our organization. We hope your club will be a strong supporter of this program and that you will encourage girls in your area to participate in this great sport.
Grants of up to $500 will be made available to Junior Girl Programs within
the PWGA boundaries. Applications for Grants may be obtained through
the PWGA office or through the Area Director.
The program is funded through an annual contribution of PWGA as
well as a Raffle at two of our major tournaments each year and
individual club donations.
PWGA Grants are designed to supplement a Junior Girls Golf Program. The grant should not be considered full funding for a program. You must indicate any other sources of funding your program utilizes in your application. Based on the funding available the Grants Committee may consider a lesser grant amount for grants to the same program on applications received in successive years.
Please make note of the following items considered appropriate for funding within the Grants Program:
- Golf course access and practice range access
- Golf Instruction (see limitations below)
- Golf equipment (clubs and snag equipment)
- Transportation for participants to attend competitions
- Team Uniforms (be specific)
We do not consider funding for the following items:
- Administrative Fees including: Newsletters and printing, postage etc.
- Tournament entry fees, awards and trophies
- Food and beverage
- Excursions
- A Maximum of $250 for instruction
