USGA Women's Mid Amateur Championship
Women over 25 with handicaps lower than 9.4! If you meet this requirement, you are eligible to enter the qualifying round for the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship (held in Wichita, KS from Sept. 25-30). It's a great opportunity to compete at a beautiful, well maintained course. The local qualifier is on Thurs., Sept 2 , Green Valley Country Club, Fairfield - $125

USGA Women's Amateur Publinks Championship
The Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship became a national championship in 1976. It is open to female golfers that do not have access to a private club and carry a handicap index of 18.4 or lower. This year’s Championship will be held at the Warren Course at the University of Notre Dame, June 21-26, 2010.

The winner of the contest will have her photo shown on the cover of the 2011 Member Handbook and Directory, and will receive a $100 Macy’s Gift Card.
