The USGA rules web page offers players the chance to learn the rules almost painlessly. Click on the link below. You will find many choices to make your learning easier. Do you learn best by watching and listening? Check out the rule animations and videos. Do you have a question about a rule? Click on the FAQ sidebar. It covers commonly asked questions, rule by rule.
If you like the challenge quizzes offer, you can click on rules quizzes and select from 10 to 25 question sets at three levels of difficulty. After you complete a quiz, you will get immediate feedback on how well you did.

2010 Changes to Rules and Decisions of Golf
2010 is a major revision year for the Decisions on the Rules of Golf. The
principal changes are listed at the back of the Decision Book on pages 542-547.
There are 28 New, 51 Revised, 1 Withdrawn, and 2 Renumbered Decisions.
The single principal change to the Rules Book is found in Appendix II - Design of Clubs, 5c . Impact Area Markings which was amended to includenew requiements for groove and punch mark conformance. The USGA Home Page also references a DVD on Golf Etiquette available to USGA members at a very modest cost. Your club may wish to purchase and loan out to members.
